Eligibility Criteria
- Age Limit: Maximum 30 years as on the closing date of the advertisement. Relaxations apply as follows:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC (NCL): 3 years
- PwBD (UR/EWS): 10 years
- PwBD (OBC-NCL): 13 years
- PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years
- J&K Domicile (1980-1989): 5 years
- Ex-servicemen: As per GoI guidelines
- Minimum Marks:
- UR/EWS: 55% in essential qualification
- SC/ST/PwBD: 50% in essential qualification
- CA/ICWA-CMA: Simple pass
- Final Year Candidates: Eligible if they submit final consolidated marksheet by July 31, 2025.
Selection Process
The selection process consists of three stages:
- Computer Based Test (CBT):
- Duration: 2 hours
- Format: 150 MCQs (120 discipline-specific, 30 general ability/logical reasoning)
- Marking: 1 mark per correct answer, no negative marking
- Minimum Qualifying Marks: 50% (UR/EWS), 40% (SC/ST/PwBD/OBC-NCL)
- Group Discussion: 10% weightage
- Personal Interview: 15% weightage
Total Weightage: CBT (75%), Group Discussion (10%), Personal Interview (15%). Candidates will be shortlisted for GD/Interview in a 1:5 ratio based on CBT merit.
Application Process
Applications must be submitted online through SJVN’s website: www.sjvn.nic.in. Follow these steps:
- Register with a valid email ID and mobile number.
- Upload a recent passport-size photograph and signature (JPEG, <500 KB).
- Pay the application fee of ₹600 + 18% GST via Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking (SC/ST/EWS/PwBD/Ex-servicemen are exempted).
- Submit the application by May 18, 2025 (6 PM).

Test Centres
CBT will be conducted in cities like New Delhi (NCR), Chandigarh, Itanagar, Dehradun, and various locations in Himachal Pradesh (Shimla, Mandi, Bilaspur, etc.). Candidates must choose two preferred test centres during application.

- Only Indian nationals aged 18+ are eligible.
