Roles and Responsibilities

Selection Process
The selection process includes:
- Screening of applications based on eligibility, experience, and APAR ratings for the last 5 years.
- Evaluation by a selection committee, considering qualifications, experience, and communication skills.
- Verification of vigilance/disciplinary clearance and no penalties in the last 10 years.

- Attested APARs for the last 5 years.
- Certification of no major/minor penalties in the last 10 years.

Note: Applications without proper channel submission or incomplete documents will be rejected. The cut-off date for eligibility is May 31, 2025.
Important Conditions
- Officers debarred from deputation or under cooling-off period are not eligible unless the cooling-off period is completed.
- IRCON is exempted from the rule of permanent absorption until August 31, 2026, as per Ministry of Railways’ approval.
- Selected candidates will be posted at IRCON’s Corporate Office in New Delhi.
- IRCON reserves the right to modify or cancel the vacancy notice without prior notice.
