Indian Highways Management Company Limited (IHMCL) is a non-government company promoted by NHAI, its Concessionaires, and Financial Institutions. Established to implement and manage an efficient Electronic Toll Collection (ETC) system and deploy Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), IHMCL plays a pivotal role in enhancing highway management and improving traffic conditions across India’s national highways.
Roles and Responsibilities

- Designing, implementing, and managing Intelligent Transportation Systems to optimize highway operations.

Compensation
Pay Scale: E-1 Grade (Rs. 40,000 - 1,40,000) with IDA Pattern
Approximate Monthly Salary: ₹84,000 (including DA, Cafeteria Allowance, HRA, etc.)
Annual CTC: Approximately ₹11 Lakhs
Selection Process
The selection will be based on:
- Valid GATE 2025 Score in Computer Science and Information Technology (CS), Electronics and Communications Engineering (EC), Electrical Engineering (EE), Instrumentation Engineering (IN), or Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (DA).
- IHMCL may conduct interviews based on category-wise cut-offs if the number of applications is large.
- In case of equal scores, the older candidate will be ranked higher in the merit list.
Guidelines for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD)
One post is reserved for PwBD candidates with at least 40% disability in the following categories:
- Blind (B), Low Vision (LV)
- Deaf (D), Hard of Hearing (HH)
- One Arm (OA), Both Arm (BA), One Leg (OL), Both Leg (BL), One Arm & One Leg (OAL), Cerebral Palsy (CP), Leprosy Cured (LC), Dwarfism (Dw), Acid Attack Victims (AAV)

Important Conditions
- The posts carry an all-India service liability.
- Selected candidates must execute a Service Bond of ₹3,00,000 to serve IHMCL for at least 3 years.
