Eligibility Criteria
Educational and Service Requirements
Telecom Assistant (TA):
- Essential Qualifications:
- Three-year Engineering Diploma in Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical, Electronics and Communications, Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, Big Data Analysis, Internet of Things (IoT), or Instrumentation from a recognized institute.
- OR B.Sc. in Electronics or Computer Science from a recognized university.
- Desirable Qualifications:
- B.E./B.Tech in relevant fields or M.Sc. in Electronics or Computer Science.
- Service Requirements:
- Holding an analogous post on a regular basis.
- OR 5 years in Level-4 (Rs. 25,500-81,100) OR 10 years in Level-3 (Rs. 21,700-69,100) in the parent cadre.
Lower Division Clerk (LDC):
- Essential Qualifications:
- 12th pass from a recognized board.
- Typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on a computer (10500/9000 KDPH).
- Service Requirements:
- Holding an analogous post on a regular basis.
- OR 3 years in Level-1 (Rs. 18,000-56,900) in the parent cadre.
Deputation Details
Terms and Conditions
The deputation period is initially for one year, extendable based on administrative needs or until a regular incumbent joins. The maximum age limit for applicants is 56 years as of the application closing date. Terms are regulated as per DoPT and DoT guidelines dated October 31, 2023, and its corrigendum.
