The Bhagalpur District Programme Office (ICDS) has announced a recruitment drive for Lady Supervisor (Mahila Paryavekshika) posts on a contractual basis, as per the notification dated May 3, 2025. This opportunity is exclusively for currently serving Anganwadi Workers (Sevikas) from Bhagalpur District, Bihar, to transition into supervisory roles under the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS). - Eligibility: Only for serving Anganwadi Workers from Bhagalpur District
- Application Deadline: 21 days from the day after the advertisement (approximately May 24, 2025)
- Honorarium: Rs. 25,000/month + up to Rs. 9,000/month travel allowance (Rs. 120 per Anganwadi center)
- Application Mode: Online submission followed by physical document submission
Essential Requirements:
- Current Role: Must be a serving Anganwadi Worker (Sevika) in Bhagalpur District
- Citizenship: Must be an Indian citizen
- Residency: Permanent resident of Bhagalpur District (Residential Certificate from Sub-Divisional Officer required)
- Educational Qualification: Minimum Matriculation (Class 10) or equivalent
- Experience: At least 10 years of continuous service as an Anganwadi Worker as of January 1, 2025
- Age Limit (as on January 1, 2025): Minimum 21 years, maximum 45 years (relaxation up to 56 years)
- Undertaking: Must submit an undertaking stating no claim for permanent appointment
The selection will be merit-based, with marks awarded as follows:
- Matriculation Marks: Percentage of marks in compulsory and optional subjects (excluding extra subjects)
- Higher Education Bonus: Additional marks for Intermediate, Graduate, or Postgraduate degrees (as per guidelines)
- Experience: 10 marks for 10 years of service, plus 1 mark per additional year of service (for periods with honorarium payment)
- Awards: Bonus marks for National/State Awards (as per guidelines)
- Tiebreaker: Preference given to the older candidate if merit marks are equal
The final merit list will be prepared based on total marks, and selections will be made by the District-Level Selection Committee per reservation categories. Candidates dismissed for irregularities are ineligible.
Candidates must apply online and submit physical documents within 21 days from the day after the advertisement (approximately May 24, 2025). Follow these steps:
- Step 1: Fill the online application form (details available at bhagalpur.nic.in)
- Step 2: Submit the printed application form with self-attested copies of:
- Matriculation certificate and marksheet (plus Intermediate/Graduate/Postgraduate if applicable)
- Residential Certificate (issued by Sub-Divisional Officer)
- Character Certificate (issued by Gazetted Officer, Bhagalpur)
- Caste Certificate (for reserved categories: SC/ST/OBC/EBC, Creamy Layer Certificate, EWS Certificate if applicable)
- Experience Certificate (issued by Child Development Project Officer, specifying years of service)
- National/State Award Certificates (if applicable)
- Disability Certificate or Freedom Fighter Dependent Certificate (if applicable)
- Step 3: Submit to: District Programme Officer, ICDS, Bhagalpur during office hours
- Step 4: Retain a copy of the application and submit an undertaking against claiming permanent appointment
