RVNL Recruitment 2025: Site Engineer & Junior Site Engineer for BharatNet-III Project in UP

Site Engineer (Telecom)

  • Qualification: Full-time B.E./B.Tech in Electronics & Telecommunication or Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 7 years in OFC project execution and network management.
    • At least 4 years in Operations & Maintenance (O&M) of fiber optic networks.
  • Essential Skills:
    • Preventive and corrective maintenance of OFC networks, including OTDR diagnostics and fusion splicing.
    • Knowledge of fiber optic technology, signal propagation, and cable management.
    • SLA/KPI management and performance optimization.
  • Preferred Skills:
    • Familiarity with GIS, ABD, RFMS, OTDR, Power Meters, Fusion Splicers, VFL, and NMS environments.
    • Proficiency in MS Office and network monitoring tools.

Junior Site Engineer (Telecom)

  • Qualification: Full-time Diploma in Electronics & Telecommunication or Electrical Engineering from a recognized institute.
  • Experience: Relevant experience in telecom projects (specific details not provided in the notification).

The selected candidates will be responsible for:

  • Supervising the construction and O&M of BharatNet’s fiber optic infrastructure across multiple districts in Uttar Pradesh.
  • Providing technical oversight and troubleshooting network issues.
  • Leading teams and ensuring performance aligns with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Managing preventive and corrective maintenance using advanced tools like OTDR and fusion splicers.

The selection will be based on a walk-in interview scheduled for 19th May 2025 at RVNL’s office in New Delhi. Candidates must bring original and self-attested copies of documents, including:

  • Application form (Annexure-I).
  • Matriculation certificate (for age proof).
  • Educational and technical qualification certificates/mark sheets.
  • Experience certificates.
  • Caste certificate (if applicable).
  • No Objection Certificate (NOC) for candidates employed in Govt./PSU.
  • Photo ID and address proof (Passport/Aadhaar/Driving License/PAN/Voter Card).

Selected candidates will undergo a medical examination. The decision of RVNL regarding eligibility, shortlisting, and selection is final.

  • Application Deadline: Candidates must appear for the walk-in interview on 19th May 2025 with all required documents.
  • Verification: Candidates must produce original documents for verification. Failure to do so will lead to cancellation of candidature.
  • Travel Expenses: No travel allowances will be provided for attending the interview.
  • Bond: Selected candidates must sign a bond to serve RVNL for at least one year, with a penalty equivalent to two months’ remuneration for early resignation.
