Nominations Open for Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar (PMRBP) 2025: Recognizing Exceptional Achievements of Children Across India in Six Categories

The Government of India has announced the call for nominations for the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar (PMRBP) 2025, a prestigious national award presented by the President of India to honor exceptional achievements by children across the country. The deadline for submissions is 31st July 2025, and all nominations must be submitted online via the official Rashtriya Puraskar Portal at https://awards.gov.in.

Eligibility and Nomination Process

Nominations are open to children aged 5 to 18 years (as on 31st July 2025). Both individuals and institutions can nominate deserving children, and children may also self-nominate. The award recognizes excellence in six categories:

  • Bravery
  • Social Service
  • Environment
  • Sports
  • Art & Culture
  • Science & Technology

How to Apply

To nominate or apply, follow these steps:

  1. Register or log in on the Rashtriya Puraskar Portal by providing details such as First Name, Last Name, Date of Birth, Applicant Type (Individual/Organisation), Mobile Number, Email ID, Aadhaar Number, and CAPTCHA verification.
  2. Select "Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar 2025" under the Ongoing Nominations section and click on “Nominate/Apply Now.”
  3. Choose the relevant award category and indicate whether the nomination is for yourself or someone else.
  4. Fill in the application form with nominee details, a concise narrative (max 500 words) describing the achievement and its impact, and upload supporting documents (PDF format, up to 10 attachments) and a recent photograph (jpg/jpeg/png format).
  5. Save the application as a draft, review, edit if needed, and submit. A downloadable copy of the application will be available for reference post-submission.
