The Indian Academy of Sciences has released an official notification for the recruitment of 01 Accounts Officer posts. Interested and eligible candidates can apply Offline through the official Indian Academy of Sciences website. The last date to submit the application form is 02-06-2025.

Application Requirements:
- Completed application in the prescribed Annexure I & II, available on the IASc website: www.ias.ac.in/positions.
- Self-attested copies of relevant documents (educational qualifications, experience certificates, caste certificate, etc.).
- A recent passport-size photograph affixed to the application form.
- Applications must be sent via Speed Post only, with the envelope superscribed: "Application for the post of Accounts Officer".
Note for Government Employees: Applications must be submitted through the proper channel, accompanied by a Vigilance Clearance Certificate and attested copies of APARs for the last 5 years. Incomplete applications or those received after the deadline will not be considered.

Interview Details:
- Call letters for the interview will be sent via email only.
- Candidates attending the interview will be reimbursed 2nd AC train fare (or actual fare, whichever is lower) for travel from their residence to Bengaluru via the shortest route.
- Meeting the minimum qualifications does not guarantee an interview call.

- The initial deputation period is two years, governed by DoPT OM No. 6/8/2009-Estt (Pay II) dated 17.06.2010 and subsequent amendments.
- Employees will be subject to CCS (Conduct) Rules, CCS (CCA) Rules, and related regulations.
- The Academy reserves the right to verify documents and background details. False or forged information may lead to termination and disciplinary/legal action, even after appointment.
- Legal matters related to this recruitment fall under the jurisdiction of Bengaluru courts.
- Candidates are ineligible if they are involved in a marriage that violates applicable personal laws, unless exempted by the Central Government.
- The Academy reserves the right to fill or not fill the advertised position.
