Essential Qualifications
Candidates must meet one of the following educational requirements:
- Master’s Degree (M.Tech./M.E./M.S.) in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Information Technology (IT), Electronics, or Electrical Engineering/Technology with first division and a valid GATE qualification in Computer Science and Information Technology (CS) or Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (DA) OR UGC-NET-LS qualification.
- M.Sc. in Mathematics with first division and a valid GATE qualification in CS or DA OR UGC-NET-LS qualification.
- Four-year Bachelor’s Degree (B.Tech./B.S.) or Five-year Integrated Degree in CSE, IT, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering/Technology with first division and a valid GATE qualification in CS or DA.
Additional requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of research experience.
- At least one research paper published in a Science Citation Indexed (SCI) or equivalent journal.
Desirable Qualifications
Candidates with the following skills are preferred:
- High-quality journal/conference papers in machine learning, deep learning, or hyperspectral imaging.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as MATLAB, R, or Python.
