Note: The vacancies are provisional and subject to change. Out of the total posts, reservations are available for persons with disabilities (VI: Visual Impairment, DD: Deaf and Dumb, OH: Orthopedic Handicap, MD: Mental Disorder).
Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: Intermediate (10+2) in Science from a recognized board or university.
- Age Limit (as on August 1, 2024):
- Minimum Age: 18 years (all categories).

- NCC Cadets: Period of full-time service deducted from actual age, subject to conditions.
- Nationality: Indian citizen.
Note: Age will be calculated based on the date of birth recorded in the Matriculation or equivalent certificate. Refer to the official notification for detailed eligibility criteria.
How to Apply for BSSC Laboratory Assistant Recruitment 2025
Follow these steps to apply online:

- Go to the “Recruitment” section and locate the Laboratory Assistant Recruitment 2025 (Advt. No. 04/25) link.
- Register by providing basic details to create a login ID.
- Complete the application form with accurate personal, educational, and contact information.
- Upload scanned copies of required documents (photograph, signature, certificates, etc.).
- Pay the application fee online via Credit Card, Debit Card, UPI, or Net Banking.
- Review the application using the “Preview” option, make corrections if needed, and submit.

Selection Process
The selection process includes:
- Preliminary Examination (if applications exceed 40,000):
- Objective-type, multiple-choice questions.
- Total Questions: 150
- Marks: 4 marks per correct answer, 1 mark deducted per wrong answer.
- Duration: 2 hours
- Subjects: General Science (10+2 level), Quantitative Aptitude, Mental Ability.
- Main Examination: For candidates shortlisted (5 times the vacancies) from the preliminary exam. Details to be announced separately.
- Document Verification: To verify eligibility and submitted documents.
