Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Genetics & Plant Breeding or related subject, OR
- Master’s degree in Genetics & Plant Breeding or related subject.
- Bachelor’s degree of 4/5 years with First Division or equivalent overall grade point average.
- Experience: At least 3 years of teaching/research experience as evidenced by Fellowship/Associateship/Training/Other engagements.
- Publication: One research paper published in a Science Citation Index (SCI)/NAAS-rated (≥ 4.0) journal.
- NET Qualification: Required for candidates with a postgraduate degree in Basic Sciences with a 3-year Bachelor’s degree and a 2-year Master’s degree.

Salary Details
Remuneration Per Month
- Master’s Degree Holders: Rs. 61,000/- + HRA
- Ph.D. Degree Holders: Rs. 67,000/- + HRA

- The position is purely temporary and contractual, terminating after 11 months or upon filling of the regular post.
